lecturers and invited speakers

The course will be led by Michael Rundell, Miloš Jakubíček and Vojtěch Kovář.

Our guest lecturer this year will be Diana McCarthy, a well-known expert on computational lexical semantics and lecturer at the University of Cambridge.

The Workshop will be held in Jesus College, part of the University of Cambridge. The college is over 500 years old, and is situated a short walk from the city centre. Some of its buildings are even older than the college itself, which was founded on the site of a medieval priory.

included in the fee

The fee includes 1-year access to Sketch Engine, tuition, 5 lunches and refreshments during coffee breaks. Accommodation can be reserved during the registration. The participants are responsible for their travel expenses and other costs.

We appreciate that the unique circumstances this year may discourage you from registering for the Workshop. We are therefore aiming to be as flexible as possible with our cancellation policy. Consequently, if you have to cancel your registration at any time up to 31st August 2021, there will be no cancellation charge and your Lexicom fee will be refunded in full.

Cancellations received after 31 August 2021 will be subject to a 330 EUR cancellation fee (incl. VAT). All cancellations must be sent in writing via e-mail to info@lexicom.courses. The organizers reserve the right to cancel the event before 31 August 2021, in which case participants who have already registered will be entitled to a full refund.
