To support participants from lower-income countries, the workshop fee is discounted by 15 and 30 percent for those who are coming from mid-income and low-income countries, respectively. To decide on a whether a country is eligible for these discounts, we use the GDP (PPP) per capita as provided by the International Monetary Fund. The current list is based on figures from 2017 and available on Wikipedia. We consider first 30 countries as high-income, next 30 as mid-income and any other country as low-income.
